Alumni Stories
Sally Morong Chetwynd
Class of 1972
In September 2013, I published my first novel - "Bead of Sand." It takes place at a place similar to Old Sturbridge Village, where a Civil War reenactor meets one of the museum employees, and their relationship ensues. The book is available in hardcover and softcover and in e-book formats through amazon.com. You can read excerpts on that site. I also have copies in hand to sign and send out.
This is a nutshell synopsis:
"Bead of Sand" explores growth beyond grief and the mantle of responsibility, in a rural setting as comfortable as your favorite jeans.
