| About Me | My ability to find the simple solutions to complicated problems was evident early in my life. When needing a distraction during my mother’s house warming party, I, at age 7, easily convinced my younger brother that he could be Casper the Friendly Ghost with the proper amount amount of baby powder. Once appropriately “dressed” the poor boy entered the party, allowing me to go feed the calves at a nearby farm. I live life by my own terms. By age 9, I knew I would manage environmental issues. When tasked by my 4th Grade teacher to predict where I would be by 2010, I declared, “while I will be very, very, VERY old, I am certain I will have solved air pollution problems. I even diagrammed a remarkable air pollution control device. Since then, I have reconsidered my opinion on age and avoid air permitting issues and work at all costs [if you have dealt with air--you would understand!] A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, I enlisted after graduating high school and served during the first Gulf War in the Dental Corp. During that time, I also worked in the operating room of Landstuhl Army Regional Hospital in Germany. “Oh yes, that was an interesting time, because I was dental, I had the delightful opportunity to assist the really complicated surgeries - - hemorrhoids, gall bladders, and the occasional orthopedic.” It was at that time I considered alternate career paths. Geology was an obvious transition for me when considering I went to Temple University for metal sculpture. When I realized that a positive income would be a challenge as an artist, I decided to pursue other interests. “I always thought volcanoes were cool,” I told my very confused parents. Subsequent to acquiring my degree from Temple University, I went on to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Delaware. Sadly, no volcanoes are there, but, thankfully, the decision led to a thriving career in consulting. Today, I am the Services Leader for our Philadelphia Regional office. I make rain so that great projects can grow! I am happily married to a Facebook-Phobe and have 3 daschunds that constantly amuse me. On occasion I run way further than my body agrees with and suffer the consequences for a few days. I have a great appreciation of hip-hop music, but adore my dark industrial late-80s roots. I think that kindness should always prevail and sincerely hope to only be a positive influence to others throughout my life. I believe in tolerance and understanding.
