About Me	I have published two books, Hush, Hush, Little Baby, and Broken But Glued:Poems for Survivors,online sales under my married name, Ellen R. Hahn. I've taught reading for years at community colleges and the elementary schools. I am a Christian and enjoy Church activities(Bible Study and helping with Homeless program). We enjoy time with friends and family, especially grand-children. My husband, Gary, and I love to travel and have been fortunate to have traveled to Europe, Mexico, Canada, and Hawaii. I married my 2nd husband Gary in 1998, and we love our life together! I am a survivor (since 2006) of breast cancer. I've climbed to the top of Mt. Rainier (AWESOME!) and have been parachuting. I love WA state and have taken many hikes in the Mt Rainier National Forest. My brother Pat (class of '69 died in Nov. 2007) of liver disease, but lived in Oregon for years. It was a true blessing him so close. My sister, Grace, is retired and lives with her husband, Phil, in Virginia. My mom, Mary E Phinney, died at age 89 in September, 2017 after accidentally falling into a garage grease pit, where she took he...(read more)
