About Me	Married the year after my mother died, in 1982. We lived in St Joseph, MN where I was going to school. Laura was born. We moved to Warren, MN before I graduated, then to Baudette. I worked in my field while we were there, at a distant cluster of Catholic churches. Jaime was born. We moved to Caledonia, MN. Caitlin was born. Michael and I divorced before what would have been our tenth anniversary. I became a single mom and sole breadwinner. Worked then at Caledonia Group Homes, but needed a more financially lucrative job, so went back to school. Was on food stamps and AFDC while I worked part time, studied, and raised the girls. It was a long, hard haul. I was in a relationship with Joe Morse for a dozen years, and we lived together during much of that time. When I graduated, I accepted a position at Mayo and have been there ever since. Moved a couple more times, but have returned to Winona where my new husband, Tom, and I have become home owners (my first!). Here we enjoy this scenic area from his Harley, see the 2 daughters who live in town and their families, often, We go to Dallas, TX to visit Laura about every other year and to Phoenix, AZ most years to visit my dad, who winters there. Our biggest family holiday is Memorial Day to most people. To us, it is Clay's birthday weekend. Aiden's birthday is within a week of Clay's, so we celebrate together so far. Aiden is 18 months now (12/2013), and Clay is nine. For Clay's 10th birthday, we are going to north Florida to meet Laura for a vacation weekend.
