About	Michael,. 62, a native and resident of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was a long time volunteer with the American Red Cross as well as a firefighter with several jurisdictions. He also volunteered with the churches he attended. Volunteering came natural to Michael because he had a servants heart, which extended to the patients he cared for during his time as a nurse. Mr Gaubert is survived by his wife, Nicole LaViolette Gaubert and several siblings, neices and nephews.
