About Me	Prayer is the greatest weapon! I was born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. I graduated from Ottumwa High in 1968. Richard Acord and I were married November 1968 in Kirksville, MO while I was attending Northeast Missouri State University. We returned to Ottumwa shortly there after and had three wonderful children. We moved to Marshalltown in July 1973. Richard worked for the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad/Union-Pacific Railroad until he retired in 2005. I worked at various banks from 1974 to 2009.
