Friends and classmates,
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the 60th reunion of our Ottawa High School Class of 1959.
The activities will be Saturday Oct. 5 and Sunday Oct. 6, 2019, in Ottawa. The planners are arranging a buffet dinner the evening of Saturday, Oct. 5 at Smoked Creations, 222 E. Logan Street. Then on Sunday, Oct. 6, there will be a brunch at The Bottle House (in our days, this was the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant) at 204 S. Walnut.
Efforts are being made to keep the costs down in hopes that as many classmates as possible not only can attend but also can help decide the format of any future class get-togethers. We'll have more information about the cost and activities before long.
Here's what you're asked to do-- in addition to saving the dates:
1. Let me know you received this message!
2. Say whether you intend to attend, so we can get some estimated numbers for planning purposes.
3. When you respond, please update your contact info (address, email address, phone numbers.)
4. Think about photos and memorabilia you could share from your time at OHS. A slide show will be organized (more later!)
5. If there are reunion activities you'd like to suggest, please let us know.
6. If you know classmates who don't use email, please print this out and pass along to them-- and get me their contact info.
