| About Me | In college, became a 3x Freestyle National Champion in Wrestling, 1988, Finalist of the Olympic Trails at 74kilo/163lbs while with the All Army Wrestling Team under the World Class Athletic Program, left Fort Bragg, NC, home of the 82nd Airborne Div as a Master parachutist; 1989 became Air Assault specialist; 1990, Commanded 287 Soldiers, the most forward Air Defense Artillery Battery in the World, Installation commander over 70 million dollars in assets; Sep 1991 Apr 1995 trained all the light and special divisions and special operations at the team level &/or platoon level and below, in Air Defense and Airborne Rangers at the Joint Readiness Training Center for 43 rotations (4yrs). Also, 1993 I became a proud Father to Katrina Maria Tripp, 21, graduated at ODU May 9, 2014 with a BS in International Studies.and finally I completed ranger school to wear the permanent ranger tab, 1995 was the operation and executive officer for the Cleveland Oh recruiting command, told the Army Story and gave over 200 wrestling clinics in the state of Ohio. 1998, graduate of the Command and General Staff college; 2001, award the Coach Tripp Award for taking a 1-15 wrestling program into a 15-1 powerhouse, winning the district, regional, sectional and 22 in the state out of 123 school, given each year to the most motivated, academics and inspirational member on the team.; 2002 Graduated of Security Assistance Program, Wright Patterson AF Base; Five trips overseas, for to the middle-east; 2009 induction to the High School Hall of Fame; and 2010 Induction into the Cambridge Who, Who in America.
