Brandy Davenport-Trujillo

Army, 4 Years
Job-Food Service & Supply. Deployed to Iraq in 2003. Stationed at Fort Bliss, TX and Fort Polk, LA. Member of 2004 Fort Bliss Culinary Team, personal chef for Post Commander, and 2004 11th Brigade Cook of the Quarter. Received honorable discharge in 2005 after spinal fracture and surgery.

Basic training Fort Ord, California. Advanced training Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Certified Artillery, Communications and Military Police. Served three tours at Pan Mun Jom South Korea on the DMZ at JSA. Reserve duty at Rochester, MN military police center.

Enlisted 29 Feb 1968, track mechanic for 1Bn 2 Artillery - 8th infantry Division in Germany. Separated Feb 1971. Reenlisted in the Iowa Army National Guard and served with 1133 Trans Company as squad leader/truck driver during Desert Storm. Transferred to Michigan Army National Guard and served with 1225th Combat Support Bn during Iraqi Freedom III as NCOIC of the intelligence and operations section. Retired as Master Sergeant, E-8.
