About	Jeff was in the army and based in Stuttgart, Germany. About the second week of August, 1971 Jess was involved in a training exercise with approximately 49 others when their helicopter went down. It was later determined the rotors had stress cracks which caused them to fall off, causing the deaths of everyone onboard.
