Navy, 20+ Years
Served as a Communications Yeoman and Radioman from 1969 to 1989. Vietnam Veteran. Worked at the Naval Message Center at Main Navy and Alexandria VA, NAVCOMMSTA Adak Alaska, COMCRUDESFLOT Eleven San Diego, COMPHIBGRU One Okinawa, NAVMSG CEN Pearl Harbor and Makalapa HI, USS Point Loma (AGDS-2), ROCLANT Norfolk VA, and USS Mobile Bay (CG-53) Mayport FL. Was embarked on the USS Truxton and Long Beach provided guided missile support in the Tonkin Gulf, USS Providence (CLG-6) providing Gun Fire Support off the coast of Vietnam, and USS Blue Ridge for the evacuation of the Saigon embassy. Trusty Shellback. Enlisted Warfare Specialist.

Most interesting job that I had in The Corps was Driver/Orderly/ Bodyguard for The Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic while stationed in Norfolk, Va.
