About Me	Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'? I'm an Artist. I paint with acrylics mainly, and I like to paint cafe scenes, street scenes, portraits of people and their pets. :)..and just about any other subject. I have gained recognition as an artist in the east Alabama region and have been successful with my work and I hope one day to have a showing of my work in Chicago, which is they say, the art capital of the US, and of course if I'm going to dream big, maybe in Paris and New York. :) Bought me a metal detector recently (July 2011) and love to read about people that have found treasures. I used to have a detector about 20 years ago, but never got into it much and then gave it to a friend, but now I'm getting into it since so many people these days ...(read more)
