Please mark your calendars for the 50th Year Class Reunion of the Class of 1968.

Dates are the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of June 2018. Seems like a long way off, but really not that far away.

Plans are: The 22nd we will participate in something that has been done for a few years now, called The Golden Walk. The class celebrating their 50th year, meet at 5:30 p.m. at the loading dock on Graduation Night. They usually line up in a classroom up the hall from the gym. The Class of 1968 will lead the procession out of the gym and up the stairs to the field (where graduation now takes place). Our seats are right behind the graduates. Afterwards everybody that participates goes to the Boiceville Inn, if they want. Closer to graduation, our names will be sent to Rita Vanacore for recognition and head count. Sounds like a nice event.

The 23rd During the day, will tour the school building. At night we will go to the Boiceville Inn. Food and drink will be on your own. I attended the Class of ‘67 along with Debbie (Spanhake) Gardner, and they enjoyed doing it this way. Fun time.

The 24th we will have a catered picnic at Glenbrook Park in Shandaken. Price $25 per person. This will include Chicken, ribs and all the fixings to go with it.

Certainly does not seem like 50 years since we graduated. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and having a nice time. The reunions in prior years have been fun and would like this to be the best ever.

I would like to get an idea of how many folks will be coming to the Class Reunion to better determine if we can have enough folks to have the Sunday picnic catered. Also need to know if you will attend the Friday night graduation ceremony.
