THIS IS AN UPDATE AS OF MARCH 16th, 2011. 1971 ONTARIO HIGH SCHOOL 40TH CLASS REUNION **UPDATE** - Price adjustment for Saturday, July 9, 2011. If you pay before July 9th, the cost per person will be $7.50. If you plan on paying on the day of the event, the cost per person will be $10.00. This will have to be paid in cash and we will not have any change. ***We are so sorry however due to limited space on the property AND an overwhelming response we have had to limit the classes attending. We ask please, only grads from the classes 69-73 respond and attend. Again, our apologies.*** JULY 8-9, 2011 It’s time for our 40th Class Reunion. Our 40th reunion will have events on Friday night, July 8, 2011 and Saturday, July 9, 2011. So mark your calendars and plan to attend! We are planning an informal get together at the bar at Brown Derby Roadhouse - Expenses are your own. STEVE FLOCKENZIER’S LAKE (Old Grater’s Lake) Saturday – July 9, 2011 – 4pm to ?? (do we have a house #) Walker Lake Road Ontario, Ohio We are planning an outdoor informal buffet style get together. Steve and Carol have been very generous and have offered to open up their property to us again. Please take care of their property and keep it clean. Thanks to Steve and Carol!! The event will start at 4:00 pm and last till the last person goes home! Everyone that attends must bring a food item for the buffet. Alcohol is BYOB. If a couple is attending, we ask that they bring 2 items. They can be one large and one small item etc. We will provide the plates, utensils, napkins, etc. On the form to return with your money is a signup sheet for you to tell us what food item you plan to bring. Do not sign up for Jones Potato Chips they will be one of the items provided. If we have too many sign up for the same item, the first person that sent in their form will be the one to bring that item. We will contact the other person and ask them to bring something else. So let’s get creative people and think of something that is unique and can stand the weather. We greatly discourage any food item that has mayonnaise associated with it due to the weather. COST PER PERSON: $7.50 WE ARE OPENING UP THIS REUNION TO ANYONE IN PREVIOUS AND LATER CLASSES THAT WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND. WE ALL HAD FRIENDS IN OTHER CLASSES AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THEM. WE HAVE CONTACTED SOME PEOPLE FROM THE CLASSES ’69-‘73 AND THEY ARE PASSING THE WORD. THERE IS AN “OHS GROUP” ON DEB WORKMAN’S PROFILE – PLEASE REFER GRADS TO IT AS IT WILL HAVE THE INFORMATION AND BE UPDATED AS NEEDED. IF YOU ARE STILL IN CONTACT WITH PEOPLE FROM ANY OTHER CLASSES, PLEASE LET THEM KNOW. WE HOPE THE WORD IS GETTING OUT. WE HAVE HAD SOME RESPONSE FROM PEOPLE IN OTHER CLASSES WHO PLAN TO ATTEND. THE SAME RULES APPLY TO THEM IN REGARDS TO COST FOR ATTENDING AND FOOD ITEMS. SO LET’S GET THE WORD OUT!!
