About	Irene Rosalia Woods Skelton 1944-2025 Irene ‘Pint’ Rosalia Skelton the daughter of Arthur and Florence Woods, was born on June 28, 1944, in Omak Wash. and passed away peacefully in her home on April 14, 2025, after a five year battle with cancer. Pint’s faith was strong, and she knew that when she left this world she would be with her mother, father, sisters and brothers in a place of peace and without pain. Pint would tell anyone who would listen that her favorite way to spend her time was with her family and friends. Pint’s grandchildren were the light of her life and in turn they adored her. Pint was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, and in the end, although her spark and energy were fading, her face would continue to light up when her family and friends were with her. Irene loved camping, riding dirt bikes, spending time in the Yaak and taking long drives in the woods. Pint was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Gina, brother Edwin Woods, and sisters Shirley Valentine and Lorraine Hendrickson. She is survived by her husband Mel Skelton, sister Louise Beal, children Melady (husband Ron) McAtee, Glen Skelton, Paul Coppock (wife Denise), Craig Coppock (wife Laurie), thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you to the hospice nurses who provided care and support not just for Pint, but also to our family through this process. We truly appreciate everything you did. Funeral services will be held on April 26, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Okanogan and rite of committal will immediately follow at Omak Memorial Cemetery. Please join us at the church following the services for refreshments.
