Dick served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War from which he received his Bronze Star. He drove the main tractor-trailer lowboy for NIck Savko and Sons, Inc. Dick served as an ambassador for Nick Savko and his sons for 17 years. He drove the shiniest tractor-trailer in town. He was a friend to all and was respected as the best lowboy driver in the State of Ohio. He logged 1.5 million miles without a single incident.
