Garry was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church and a 1988 graduate of Oldham County High School.
He was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity at University of Kentucky. Garry earned his MBA and was to
receive his Ph.D. in Management at the University of Louisville this summer.
He is survived by his fiancée, Sameeksha Desai; his parents, Garry and Marilyn Buttermann; his sister, Jill Canuel; her
husband, Jason; nephew, Coleman; grandparents, George and Wanda Coleman, Virginia Buttermann; a large
extended family; and his beloved dogs, Hector and Manny.
