About	"Remember me with a smile on my face." John K. Hartlage 6/6/70 - 6/3/02 It's been one long year of missing you and trying to go on without you. Lots of feelings to deal with because there was no time for good-byes and your time here was so short. You fought long and hard and it took a lot of courage, but your struggle with your mind is over - it doesn't exist where you are now. Thanks for the many happy memories you gave us - lots of basketball and baseball games, gardening and tomato fights, always playing with the kids, but especially the hunting and fishing memories with family and friends. Thanks for the beautiful field of sunflowers you planted. You are a part of each and every one of us and we will savor the times we had together forever in our hearts and memories. You taught us lessons in life - give unconditional love, patience, keep faith, tolerance and how to live in the moment. We know you are up there watching over all of us, especially your beautiful little girl. Rest in peace with Christ in Heaven! Knowing and feeling your daily presence, Dad, Mom, family and many friends who love you and miss you.
