About	Josh Dixon, age 31, of Fort Smith, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born July 2, 1979 in Osceola, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father, William Frederick Dixon, and a sister, Heather Dixon. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Kerrie and Morgan Bryant of West Fork; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Nikki Dixon and Ashley and Brandon Ford, all of Dover and Cassidy Dixon of Chariton, Iowa; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Steven Bryant and Andy and Tiffany Bryant, all of Springdale; his grandparents, Carnetta and Robert Williams of Dover, Beverly Dixon of Lucas, Iowa, Fred and Lana Dixon of Russellville and Ray and Mitzi Bryant of Fayetteville; two dogs, Mocha and Molly; and a number of extensive family. The funeral service will be at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Kenny Partain and the Rev. Bill LaRue. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery near Dover, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Active pallbearers will be Steven Berndt, Kyle Lynch, Jeff and Bryan Ayers, Jeremy Proctor, Matt Thompson and Brandon and Eric Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Walters, John and Brandon Henstchel, John and Jamie Buttz, Matt and Mitch Dixon, Steven and Andy Bryant, Jeff Williams, Dillon Williams and Donnie and Bobby Dixon. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
