About Me Born in Ogden, UT. I have two older brothers, one in Bountiful and one near Hooper. I met my spouse at BYU during summer school. He is a very kind, thoughtful companion. I love animals and have two pets. Ginger the Cat, and Founder the Toy Poodle.I have had several pets over my lifetime. I had a horse in my late teens and road in the North Ogden Jr. Posse, parades and for the joy of it. Dad sold my horse when I went away to BYU. Growing up, I was always looking for a project and kept my parents busy keeping up with me. I have two sons and two daughters who have given me ten wonderfull grandchildren (eight boys and two girls) #1 son is a morgage officer and professional artist. his wife loves photography, excercising and spends time running her four children to all kinds of lessons and activities. She likes to be in plays, she is also taking a leave from being a Drama teacher while she raises her family. She has taken up photography and is very good. #2 son is a graphic artist, he was married to Nicole last August. We enjoy her very much. She is a perfect match for Eric. He is very quiet but kind and a hard worker. #1 daughter is raising her four children, taking Photoshop, exercising every day to be able to run marathons, her husband is very busy as a Allstate agent and is in their Stake Presidency. #2 daughter is raising two sons. One of which is a special outgoing child that keeps her running. She is great at wall texturing, decorating, acting and motherhood. Her husband is a Real Estate Broker & Builder. I have an over active personality which causes me to try to get more done than I should, thus causing stress. I exercise at a Physical Therapy Pool three mornings a week. I am on a bowling league twice a week and also substitute bowl when called. I love to take photos, oil paint, read, chrochet and even enjoy yard work.I need to get back to the piano. Since this was posted, I now practice the piano about one hour a day. Never give up is what Mom use to say. I also want to get back to drawing and paiting. I have finished off two basements by myself and have also sodded a yard in Kirkland, WA. with scraps as we were on a tight budget. I have put in two sprinkling systems. I have taught piano, oil painting and drawing. I was an Art and Education major in College. I have made large stained class sidel lights and other large stained glass windows featured in home shows and other private homes. My husband lost his job for over six months in the early 80's. The children were all in school, so I decided that I would have to work away from home. I landed a job with New York Life Insurance Co. as an agent. I sold life, health, disability, annuities and mutual funds. I became one of the top ten national producers of disability sales with New York Life and earned many awards. I went into management for eighteen months. I had to retire in 2003 due to my health. The award plaques on the wall have been replaced by photos of my grandchildren and their families, ancestors, my photos and my sons paintings. I spend my extra time in any day doing family research. I have over 32,000. names in pedigrees. I am spending time getting old ancestor photos and articles organized, linking names and organizing archives. I wear oxygen day and night due to Intercestial Pulmonary Fibrosis. In 2003 when diagnosed, I was told that it was Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and that I had only three to five years to live. I have not gotten worse and the diagnosis changed. I retired from over 19 years at that time from being an Agent with New York Life. Stress can make the disease worse, so I try to avoid stressful things and keep busy to stay well. I do not know why I joined FACEBOOK as my extra time is scarce, but I do like to share my photos and tell stories. I will...(read more)
