About Me	Joined the Army in Oct. 1962. Went to Air-borne jump school, served 4 yrs., of which 3 yrs. spent in Germany. Married in 1963 to Ruth Nelson from Boone, Ia. We have 4 children, 2 boys & 2 girls. Lived in lincoln Nebraska for 3 yrs. and moved to Dallas, Tx. and Greenville, Tx (presently) where we plan to retire. I attended Dallas Community. Worked air conditioning and heating for 2 yrs after college and lost my right leg below the knee in a hunting accident Nov. 3rd 1971 (was shot by my best friend - don't laugh). I had a personal experience with God at that moment and heard His voice speak to me, I called to Him for hekp and surrendered my will to Him. and He said, My son, you are going to be all right". I felt His presence and a calming peace, and my life has changed for ever for Him since that day. I seved 1 term as a deacon for our church, and have helped many to understand the "Good News" of Jesus Christ and will continue till He takes me Home. I started a business in 1978 selling Solar Window Film, and in the last 7 years I have added solar window screens, blinds, shades and Shutters. My business area in general is residential, and commercial customers in 4 counties of north central Texas. Oh, in about 1994 - 1995, I and 2 of my children were walk-on extras for 2 days in a movie titled "Streets of Larado", with James Garner and Sisick Spacek, who was born less than 30 miles from Greenville. I also lived at Murphy/Parker, Texas, 1/2 miles south of the South Fork Ranch, where teh series "Dallas" was filmed, actually the ra...(read more)
