About Me	Taught high school biology and health courses for 33 years. Retired on June 3, 2011.Coached football for 24 years and wrestling for 18 years, head coach for 12 years. As a head coach had a record of 99-68-2, won two conference titles, three regional titles and had Bonduel's first individual state champion and 10 state qualifiers. I taught over 5,000 students at Bonduel H.S., Bonduel M.S., Shawano-Gresham Summer School, and Delavan-Darien H.S. and coached about 1,600 athletes. I taught science methods, Energy education and community building to over 400 teachers. I've been married to Kathy (from Cleveland, OH) for 44 years. (since 1978) We have three daughters - Jane, Sue & Maribeth. Jane has an MEd in educational technology and BSE in Education (Math/Spanish). Sue has a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a BSE in Early Childhood Ed. She works in VIP customer relations at Disney World. Maribeth has a BSE in English & Drama Education and Special Education. Jane and Maribeth are both teachers, although Jane loves her union work and karaoke and Maribeth still dabbles in theater and improv comedy. Before teaching, I picked sweet corn, did landscaping, operated automatic turret lathes at Waukesha Motors, and was a child care staffer at a treatment center for emotionally disturbed boys in Dousman. Summer jobs included supervisor of the whole pickle line for Vlasic, teacher inservice training, and teaching summer school elementary Science Is Fun.
