In the last years of his life he suffered from heart disease (open heart surgery), diabetes, and was on kidney dialysis for several years before his death. He was fully disabled as a Viet Nam veteran afflicted with the after affects of Agent Orange. He had a great impact on my life and will remain a special part of my story/journey.
