LISA ANN MAZZA GOLDSMITH
AGE: 52 WANAMASSA
Lisa Ann Mazza Goldsmith, 52, of the Wanamassa section of Ocean Township, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Manhattan, N.Y. Lisa had been employed as an instructional teachers assistant for the Ocean Township Middle School dealing with special needs children in a one to one basis. Born in Neptune, she had lived in Shark River Hills, Neptune and then went on to graduate from Ocean Township High School. She has resided in Ocean Township since the 9th grade. Lisa was described as a very happy person and was always putting the needs of her family and others before her own needs. She was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She was predeceased by her mother, Joan Ehmann Mazza; and her sister, Joanne Lawler. Surviving are her devoted husband of 32 years, Robert Goldsmith; her daughter, Brianne Goldsmith, at home; her daughter, Arleigh and her husband Miguel Beauchamp, and their two children, Isabella and Mikey Jr., all of Freehold; her sister, Michelle Mirabella of Brick; and her nieces and nephews, Max and Olivia Mirabella and Scott, Bethany, and Alison Lawler.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 until the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall. Committal will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702, in her memory.
