About	JOHN DESARNO JR., 50, of the Wanamassa section of OCEAN TOWNSHIP Posted by the Asbury Park Press on 02/4/07 JOHN DESARNO JR., 50, of the Wanamassa section of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Friday, Feb. 2, at Medi-Center, Neptune City. Known as "Buddy," he was born in Neptune and lived in Asbury Park before moving to Ocean Township 46 years ago. Buddy was a 1975 graduate of Ocean Township High School and attended Brookdale Community College. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Asbury Park. He was predeceased by his father, John Sr., in 2001. Surviving are his mother, Theresa DelPizzo DeSarno, and his brother, Craig DeSarno, both of Wanamassa; and several aunts and uncles. There are no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Entombment will be at St. Catherine's Mausoleum, Wall. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
