| About Me | I taught special needs children for eight years. Most of the children I taught dealt with severe physical, mental and behavioral issues. This was very rewarding and challenging and led me to get my graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. While in school, I became Transition Coordinator for Kettering and Centerville school districts; helping young adults with disabilities transition from school to work activities. When I graduated from Wright State, I worked as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor for Miami Valley Hospital performing vocational testing to assist clients in obtaining work. I did this for eight years and then met a woman who went from being head of surgery for MVH to starting her own cookie business.
