Participated in evacuation of refugees from Viet Nam in '75 by setting up, and maintaining their camp at Orote Point, Guam, while stationed with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Later assigned to Fort Benning Georgia to act as an enemy force to those in Ranger training.
