Kermie Schneider

Class of 1976

Did you know.... that Oakville 1976 graduate Kermie Schneider attended Northwest Missouri State and that following his tragic death in a boating accident, the University named an award after him? It is true, every year a freshman football player is awarded the Kermie Schneider - Freshman of the Year Award.

Kermie was an exceptional athlete during his four years at Oakville, displaying his many talents in football, wrestling and baseball.

Kermie Schneider is our nominee for induction into the Oakville Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
