Went into service in 1966, went to Vietnam in 67 spent 18 months in camp tein Shaw , came home and went to the phillippines for a year came back to California for rest of my time.

Served as a Missile Fire Control Technician/Advanced Electronics. Advanced to Master Chief (E9). Attached to 6 Ships (1 Frigate, 2 Destroyers, 3 Aircraft Carriers). Deployed to the Western Pacific 8 times, cruised around the world twice. traveled to Japan, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Phillipines, Tailand, Bruni, Australia, Guam, Alaska, United Arab Emerates, Kuwait, Dubai, Italy, Egypt, England. Sailed Pacific, Atlantic, Mederteranian, Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean..... Pretty much everywhere you would want to go and a few you wouldn't want to go.
