Wow, this one was a tough one, Ronnie and me were really close, I’ll never forget his VW Bus, I’ve never pushed anything as far as that dam VW bus. Ronnie loved that dam thing. I remember when Ronnie and Marci Hecker started dating, I’d never seen him more happy, the guy was head over heels.
I was getting in WAY to much trouble, had joined the Navy in 1975/6 I was on a plane headed to ROTA Spain when I got word of Ronnie’s death after trying to talk a robber down in a Dennys in old Roseville. After all this time I still feel the loss of a brother, and dam good friend. The irony is that Ronnie was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. What a waste. I’m not surprised he died trying to save a life! That’s just who Ronnie was!
