Steven never married and had no children. He lived in New York City for six years after graduation. He returned to Meadow Vista, CA for a few years, then San Francisco, N. San Juan, Sparks, NV before moving to Brazil in 2005. He lived in San Paulo and on the coast of Brazil in Recife where he passed away while living near the southeast point overlooking the ocean. He worked for ATT the majority of his life, and did some writing after he retired.
