Devon Guinn

Yeoman Petty Officer Third Class Devon L. Guinn of the United States Navy received an Honorable Discharge in 2011 after commendable achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as a member of Administration Department on-board the USS NEW MEXICO (SSN 779) and Naval Submarine support center, Norfolk. Petty Officer Guinn consistently performed his demanding duties in exemplary and highly professional manor. Demonstrating initiative and a positive attitude. He assumed his responsibilities as an Administrative Assistant and performed superbly. As the commands liaison with Personnel Support Detachment, he was a key player in the implementation of the Electronic Leave system and in inclusion of over 150 staff personnel records in the Electronic Service Record System. In addition, he meticulously handled all pay issues, providing outstanding customer service to over 1,200 personnel assigned to the waterfront units and the Submarine Support Center staff. Petty Officer Guinn's professionalism and loyal devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and the United States Naval Service.
