About Event
The Oak Ridge High School Class of 1970 will hold its 45th Class Reunion the weekend of October 2-4, 2015. The reunion contact is year is Steve Higginbotham. He can be reached via email at higg71@comcast.net or by cell phone at 360-280-2852.
The schedule and location for Friday evening is TBA but will be somewhere near our old stomping grounds at Oak Ridge HS (anyone up for some Rossi's?). Friday will be a relaxing get together for casual conversations and reconnecting with old friends (sort of a "come when you can and leave when you want to" time).
Saturday morning will offer a round of golf to those who would like to knock it around for 18 holes. We'll be teeing off at Ventura Country Club starting at 8:00am (and relax, we will be finished in plenty of time before the Saturday festivities begin). Cost for golf is $35/pp and is in addition to the registration charge for Saturday evening. Please contact Steve Higginbotham if you are interested in playing on Saturday. If you're local and would be willing to coordinate the golf for Steve, I'm sure he'd be grateful (hint, hint!)
The Saturday evening schedule will again be held at Ventura Country Club and will feature a full dinner, DJ, dancing and more. Total cost for Saturday night will be $75/per person. There will also be a "cash bar" available for your convenience.
As well, we'll also be getting together for an informal Sunday gathering for those who want the party weekend to continue. We'll update the location and time as soon as it is confirmed (please check back later for more details).
A reunion publicity card will also be mailed in the coming weeks, so be on the look out. Please share this information with any other '70 classmates who might be interested. More information coming soon.
Also, please make sure you update your contact information to insure receipt of reunion information in the future. You can email your contact info directly to Steven Higginbotham. This is especially true for those who might have relocated in the past five years!

Like the last reunion, we'll gather on Friday evening for a casual time of fellowship and conversation with old friends. The location has yet to be determined but will be an "on your own" for food/beverage and is not included in the $75.00/per person fee for the Saturday evening festivities.
