| About Me | I'm a 27 year veteran of General Motors, employed as a Process and Manufacturing Engineer for most of that time. I've survived the upheaval and bankrupcy, and now enjoy working towards creating a better, stronger company. Love my Chevys! I spent several years after high school generally having a lot of fun, meeting people, riding motorcycles - wasn't that the American Dream at one time? ;-) I decided in 1982 to do someting worthwhile and enrolled at the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater, OK. I received my Engineering BS in 1987, and went to work doing the job I had wanted to do since meeting a Manufacturing Engineer while working for Ford in Kansas City. I spent a lot of years dating, working, camping, and rock climbing around North America. In 1991, I met the girl who would become my wife in 1994. We actually met when each of us was looking for a new climbing partner, which is how we got to know one another. We've travelled all over the West climbing, hikiing, mountaineering, skiing, and cycling. Two kids later and the climbing is but a memory. Mountain biking and hiking are still on the list, but boating takes up most of our recreational time these days. We love raising our kids and with them are finding whole new ways of fulfillment. My main hobby is up-powering Sea-Doo & Yamaha personal watercraft with several skis capable of speeds from 65 to 75 mph. One in the works this winter with which I hope to hit the 90s.
