About Me	I was a teacher for many years. I began my career as a music teacher and ended it as a librarian. I loved both my careers and used them simultaneously throughout my working years. I retired in 2012 and spend my time volunteering, participating in church activities, performing in community theater productions, babysitting grandchildren, traveling w/my husband, scrapbooking and living part of the year at our 2nd home in Wisconsin. I still enjoy good health and part of that is due to the fact that I married a man who can always make me laugh. My husband is a retired professor from the University of Oklahoma who also enjoys writing plays and musicals that I perform in. Our children range in age from 43 to 36 and we have 9 grandchildren. We also have two, furry, 4 legged children Susie & Wiley who at times are the bane of our existence but whom we couldn't live without. We live in Norman, Oklahoma where I have been since I came to OU in 1968. Our home is situated on 5 acres and although we're not far from the city proper we do enjoy watching deer and other wildlife on our property.
