| About Me | Perfection is who we think we should be.... Peace is liking who we are The simple things in life are my true happiness. Like putting potato chips on a sandwich, the true belly laugh of a child, singing in my car, plastic bubble wrap, pop rocks, sock monkeys, ten second self timers on cameras and electric blankets. I believe if you are going to love, love with your entire soul. Mine has been stepped on a few times, but those relationships have taught me how to live without being guarded, talk without being judged, love with no conditions, persevere through animosity, and help me understand that I can heal despite enormous pain. To the few people I choose to hold that close I give thanks. Without them I wouldn’t know good if it weren’t for the bad, wouldn’t know what true love was if there were no heartbreak, wouldn’t recognize trust if it weren’t for the lies and wouldn't know Jesus if it weren't for the loneliness. I adore mindless shopping through antique stores that take me back through my childhood. Like the real Weebels that wobble and don’t fall down, inch worms, colorforms, metal lunch boxes, stamp collector books, dressy betsys and metal vibrating football fields. I believe in love at first site and people should do more apologizing and less criticizing. We should take a moment and praise our children when they are acting like courteous little people instead of constantly reminding and correcting them when they are wrong and take more pictures as they grow. I believe people should make time to bring closure to every deserving situation so both people have the chance to move forward in a healthy way. No two people are alike and if you take the time to actually talk to elderly people while standing in line for coffee, you are sure to pick up something wise about this thing we call life. I believe things are not just coincidence but rather happen for a reason. There is nothing better than a kiss on the back of the neck or a surprise when you least expect it. I'm not perfect and believe apologies are in store for those I have wronged, not to seek forgiveness but to help them move on as long as doing so doesn't hurt them more.
