Hi Everyone - we had our first planning committee last night. We are so excited to put on this event!! In order to make this successful, the registration fee info is as follows:
$30 per person/$50 per couple this covers cost of venue, food, DJ and decorations. (There will be a cash bar).
DEADLINE - May 15th- No exceptions

We do need to have good participation or we can't pull this off. We are asking for everyone's help to get the word to those that are not on Facebook. And share share share. Also we are thinking about organizing a tour of the high school the Friday before and then fish fire at legion That night. Sunday the day after the reunion many of us will be registering on Jan Schaefer Wood race for the cure team and will walk in celebration of her and other breast cancer survivors. You will have several opportunities to get to see classmates if Saturday doesn't work out smile emoticon. Look forward to seeing many of you!!!!

40-YEAR REUNION PICNIC

Miller Park Pavilion (adjacent to the OC football field) - 315 E. Groveland Dr, Oak Creek

BRING YOUR OWN picnic lunch, drinks, ice, cooler, lawn chairs, grill, etc. (Grills & picnic tables are at the park, but we can't be sure how many will be available.) If you don't want to fuss, you could just stop on your way & grab a sub or salad, etc. Come alone or bring the family! This is meant to be low-cost, stress-free and FUN!!! Activities will be planned for those who care to participate. Miller Pond is stocked for the fishermen and/or grandchildren (yikes!) You'll need fishing equipment & license. We have paid for pavilion rental and beer permit, and we'll be supplying cake, coffee, snacks, large-print (ha ha) name tags, '60's music, etc., and a donation box for anyone who cares to help out with expenses. Any monies leftover will be donated to a local Senior Living establishment (where some of us could be reuniting next???) FLYER is attached for you to print and hand out, post, email, or US Mail to other '70 classmates you're in contact with. If you know of anyone who has passed on, please send us their name(s) so they can be included on our memory board. FOR '70 GIRLS ONLY: Plans are in the making for Thurs-Fri. prior to the picnic for a girls-only get-together (because womenfolk have so much to talk about & we'll be better able to relax & enjoy the picnic after we've re-connected and talked over the cliff-hangers in our lives!!) Any women interest in all or part of the Girls-Only plans, please let us know ASAP! We are looking forward VERY MUCH to seeing you all on Saturday, August 21st! RSVP is not necessary, but it sure would be nice to know how many are hearing about it and are planning to come. Hope you see you there!
