Upcoming School Board Election
Hi everyone,
The Oak Creek - Franklin School Board election will be coming up soon on Tuesday, April 6th. I have just completed my 3rd term on the school board and, as a fellow Oak Creek Alumni, I am once again asking you for your support at the polls. While the teacher’s union has decided to privately endorse another candidate (they endorsed Mr. Pelzek- mainly because the union contract is being negotiated this year) I would just like to point out a few things that set me apart from the other candidates such as I am:
• the only member of the board that voted to not raise taxes this year,
• the most experienced candidate running in this election (two have absolutely no experience in public education including the candidate that the teacher’s union is endorsing) and
• the only candidate who graduated from OCHS and currently has children in the school system.
There are two seats open so if you’re interested in my pick for the other seat I am strongly supporting Frank Carini. He has a great track record of community involvement, is active in many organizations, AND has been such a strong advocate for our district and our community that he was elected President of the board in his second year (almost unheard of ). For information about all of the candidates, please go to:

Thanks everyone!
