About	I know Bob Green died in 1971. I know this because we were friends in high school. My mother brought his obituary to my attention and asked me if I had known him. Of course I said yes. Robert Green died in 1971. I know this because my mother saw his obituary in the newspaper and asked me if I knew him. Of course I said, we were friends in high school. So, I personally went to his wake and saw him laid out. Bob died in 1971.

Bob and his family lived across the street from us. I learned of his death in January 1972 while serving in Vietnam on a combat operation. He was one of my best friends.
