A mutual friend who passed away in February this year told me this info
Mark Brady '70 said:
Mark and I started kindergarten at Samuel Huntington Elementary School about 1956. One day on the walk home I went to his house. Maybe 1-2 of snow covered his back yard and it concealed a stream, which I promptly fell through and sank check deep. Someone came out and pulled me out. Wet to the knees and freezing. His Mom made us hot cocoa and dried me off for the walk over Flower Street and up New Hanover. Harrowing at 4 years old. We were in competing troops in Boy Scouts. Haven’t seen him since High School. He went to Platt and I to Wilcox, Carpentry. I remember him fondly.
