About Patricia M. Winslow
MERIDEN - Patricia Marie Winslow, 40, of 41 Brookdale Road, wife of Jody J. Winslow went into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at Waterbury Hospital due to injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident.

Born in New Haven on Sept. 24, 1968, she was the daughter of Anthony and Marie DeFelice of South Meriden and had resided in Meriden most of her life and graduated from Platt High School, class of 1987. She was always singing and dancing, and was affectionately called "Pat" by her parents. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels Church in South Meriden.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two children, Brittney Marie Winslow and Eric Paul Winslow; two brothers, Anthony J. DeFelice and Joseph DeFelice, both of Meriden and mother-in-law, Jaclyn Winslow and her husband, Colman Varney of South Meriden. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Molly D'Andrea and grandfather, Joseph D'Andrea; and her husband's grandparents, Ceil and Paul Tino of Meriden.

Patricia was an amazing, loving, mother, daughter, sister and wife. She had a love for fashion and decorating, a passion for cooking which she shared with others to express her love for her family with her famous dinner parties and get-togethers. She enjoyed day trips and musicals in the city, and had an amazing voice. Patricia was given the gift of humor and loved to make everyone around her laugh, which she did extremely well. She could walk into a room and it would light up like no other. Two of her best qualities would be her modesty and grace. She was so special because she was always willing to go above and beyond what was asked of her. Always reaching out to help. Never looking for anything in return, and what made it so special is she had no idea how much she taught all those around her. Patricia was and always will be the rock of her family and will be missed greatly each and every day, but her legacy and life will never, ever, be forgotten and her family will one day be reunited with this beautiful angel someday soon. Rest in Peace Patti.
