About	Mark Perkins, 1980 class valedictorian, passed away February 7, 2007. Many classmates may recall that Mark also faithfully served many years as class treasurer. Mark graduated from the University of Rochester in 1984 with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, and later received his Master's degree from RPI. He was employed with Entergy Co. in Oswego at the time of his passing, where was revered as a talented and gifted engineer. Mark earlier worked for General Dynamics and Proto Power, Inc. in Groton, Conn. Among Mark's many interests were working on his home, gardening, music, astronomy, history and woodworking. He is deeply missed and fondly remembered by his friends, classmates and family, including his brothers Gary (’70) and Glenn (’72).
