Jerry moved to Israel in the late 1970s and made it his home. He joined the IDF, became a Sargeant and tank commander but he tragically killed in the first few days of the 1982 Lebanon War. He was 25. His commander wrote "Jerry (known to Israelis as Tzvi) was a beloved and admired figure in the company and everyone knew him and loved to be with him...." May his memory be a blessing.
