NORWOOD - A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert E. "Bob" Radell, 82, a resident of 15 Whitney Street, Norwood, will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church in Norwood with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Burial with Military Honors will be held following the services in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Mr. Radell passed away late Monday evening at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with family at his side.



Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose, Norwood; his two daughters, Julie Radell (Mark Stivers), Little Rock, Arkansas and Lisa and Brad Fefee, Norwood; his seven beloved grandchildren, Ashely, Joseph, Brandon, Jon, Aiden, Harper and Parker and four great-grandchildren, Michael, Sophia, Scarlett and Grayson; a brother, David and Rita Radell, Rochester as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Bob was pre-deceased by his parents and two brothers, Thomas and Gary Radell.



Born in Rome, NY on October 26, 1943 to the late Merritt and Margaret Hutchinson Radell, Bob graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Class of 1962 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Potsdam. He married Rose Cutler on April 5, 1964 and together, had two daughters. Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20+ years of service to his country. While in the Air Force, Bob was a Flight Instructor, training new as well as veteran pilots. After retirement, Bob was a substitute high school teacher as well as working in maintenance with Community Bank. Bob was a devoted Christian, attending St. Andrew's Church and enjoyed woodworking and hobby trains in his spare time. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.
