The funeral for Chad R. Goodspeed, 21, was held at the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in Visitation Cemetery.
Mr. Goodspeed died Saturday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, from injuries he suffered in a snowmobile accident.
He was a student at Canton College of Technology and was due to graduate this month.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed snowmobiling.
Born Sept. 30, 1981, in Potsdam, son of Ricky L. and Karen Webster Goodspeed, he was a 2000 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Norwood.
Surviving besides his parents, are a brother, Eric; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goodspeed, his maternal grandmother, Jane Francher, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A sister, Sarah, died in 1980, and his maternal grandfather, James Webster, also died before him
