About	per Obit: Chase Mills: Deborah Ann (Pike) Stevens, 71, of Canton, NY, and formerly of Chase Mills, NY, passed away peacefully under the care of Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Friday, May 2, 2025. Born in 1953, Debbie was one of six daughters of the late Mary (Sheets) and George Pike. Debbie graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central High School in 1973, after which she was employed in the food service industry at many North Country establishments. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Kristine Stevens and her husband Andy Carpenter. Also, remaining are her greatest joy, her grandchildren: Johnna Rae, Andrew, Ray and Skylar, as well as great-grandchildren: Delani, Tamen and Grace. It was for them she found strength in overcoming tremendous life and health challenges. In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by her sister Diana Caswell (George). She was loved and will be greatly missed by her remaining sisters: Sandra Demarest (David) of Potsdam, NY, Kathleen Barclay of Waddington, NY, Laura Stevenson of Norwood, NY, and Cheryl Brown of Fayetteville, NC, as well as their extended families and the many friends Deb made along her journey. Also mourning Deb’s passing is the NYS Lottery System. Those who knew Deb well will understand the humor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Calling hours will be held at Phillips Memorial Home in Waddington, NY, on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 2:00 until time of services at 4:00 PM with Pastor Judy Van Kennan officiating. A private burial service will take place at the convenience of the family in Bixby Cemetery in Norfolk, NY.
