| About | per Obituary POTSDAM – Beverly A. Fefee, 93, a longtime resident of State Highway 56, peacefully passed away Friday morning, January 10, 2025 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Beverly was born in Norwood on August 9, 1931, the daughter of the late Chester and Loretta (Cardinal) Hosmer. On April 20, 1954, she married Dart W. Fefee at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Potsdam. He predeceased her in January 2008. Beverly was a secretary at Potsdam State University for many years and was a communicant of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Norwood. She was also a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary in Potsdam. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, and golfing. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Debra Lamb of Potsdam; her sister, Barbara Lavigne of Norfolk; her brother, Chester Hosmer, Jr. of Rome; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, George Lamb in May 2023; her sisters, Norma Sharlow and Joan Pike; and a brother, Gordon Hosmer. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, where friends may call Tuesday, January 14th from 12-3:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the spring at St. Andrew's Catholic Church with burial to follow in Bayside Cemetery.
