About	per Parker Bros Obit NORWOOD - Michael G. Town, 75, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home at Barnwell, Valatie New York. He was born on January 14th 1950, son of the late Raymond and Geraldine (McNerney) Town. He is survived by brothers, Raymond (Patricia) of Fort Myers, FL; Patrick (Catherine) of Sarasota, FL; Charles (Katherine) of Troy, NY; and John of Albany, NY; sisters, Ann Carson of Brownville, NY; Mary LaPoint of Norwood, NY and Rosalie Campbell of Fort Myers, FL. In addition to his parents, He is predeceased by a sister Cecilia and a brother Harold. Michael is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School Class of 1968. Michael then furthered his education at UPenn School of Dentistry. Along the way he earned an Associate degree in electrical technology at Canton ATC. Michael loved fishing on the rapids of the Raquette River and the shore of Boyd Pond. He liked spending time outdoors especially camping and swimming. He loved spending time with family and friends enjoying a good home cooked meal and conversation. There will be a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
