"Chris Colby, a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Born on January 7, 1952, He lived a life marked by unwavering commitment to his family, friends and the values he cherished. Chris is predeceased by his partner, Marilyn Hall; parents, Lloyd Colby and Eleanor Colby; brother-in-law, Ralph Davies. He is survived by his children, Sara (Matt) Mroczek, Justin (Tina) Colby; grandchildren, Colby, Jackson, Maddox, Harper, Bryson, Addy; siblings, Debbie Davies, Gail (Brian) Sharlow, Jill (Artie) Frego.

Chris was never too busy to lend a hand. He was a pillar of support for everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His greatest priority was always his children and grandchildren, who he adored beyond measure. He took pride in their accomplishments. Chris often attended every school and sporting event. His presence was a constant source of encouragement and love, and taught them the importance of resilience, and courage in the face of life challenges.

In addition to his family commitments, Chris was an avid outdoor enthusiast. He found great joy in flying, riding motorcycles and snowmobiling, often sharing these adventures with those he loved.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his unwavering love, adventurous spirit, and the countless lives he's touched.

As Chris would say" it's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice ""
