Steinburg, 67, a resident of 28 Ridge Street, Norwood, will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Stephanie passed away late Sunday evening, April 14, 2024 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Stephanie is survived by her husband and longtime companion, Larry G. Steinburg, Norwood; a brother, Joseph and Sandra LaValley, Naples, FL and a brother-in-law, Edward Mitchell, Brasher Falls as well as several nieces and nephews. Stephanie was pre-deceased by her parents and a sister, Paulette Mitchell. Born in Potsdam, NY on April 2, 1957 to the late Harold and Deloris Toth LaValley, she graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School and married Larry G. Steinburg. Stephanie worked as clerk for the Publix Supermarket in Florida for several years before moving back to the North Country. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoyed watching softball, socializing with family and friends and she truly enjoyed the warm weather and time spent in Florida.
